Approach

Our approach is unique and holistic- the needs of each child are central to the the way they learn and how we work with them. Each child is allocated a tutor who has a childcare/teaching qualification, and extensive experience of working with children and will understand their requirements.

We offer tuition to children of all ages either individually or in small groups. The lessons take place in one of our venues in East Sheen or Dukes Meadows (Chiswick). The children come for support after school once (or twice) a week during term time. All our teachers are fully qualified, experienced and individually interviewed by Sue and Victoria. Some are supplementing a full time teaching job, others are taking a break from teaching within a school to pursue further academic study or to raise a family or simply because they enjoy this type of teaching. They always comment on the rewards of teaching children individually and the progress that can be achieved both in terms of ability and confidence. We do not believe in hot housing children to prepare for exams, but rather working with them gradually to ensure all the building blocks of their knowledge are secure and at the right time fine tuning their exam technique.

We work with each family and share ways that they can support their child. We are always available to offer guidance and assistance to both parents and carers. We have in house childcare specialists, both an Educational Psychologist and a Speech and Language Therapist. In addition we have an extensive network of independent welfare specialists and therapists should we need to refer families and excellent links with many schools.
