sue laidlaw - partnerSue Laidlaw, Senior Partner and Founder
Sue’s passion for teaching began at an early age - even before she started school herself! Following her four year B.Ed (Hons) degree at Westminster College, Oxford, she spent ten years teaching in both the state and the independent sector culminating in several significant senior management roles.

At the heart of all she does, Sue centres the child. Her experience with so many children over the years endorses these values.

Sue founded Laidlaw Education over two decades ago and has delighted in each stage of its development and growth. She is the Director of Education for the Junior Tennis Foundation (JTC) and the fc** Tennis Academy. She continues to be involved with and oversee each part of the consultancy on a daily basis and thoroughly enjoys working with the close-knit office team.

Sue is privileged to have been Education Consultant to the Archant Good Schools Show, in addition to writing monthly articles for Archant’s Core Titles and sub-editing their magazine “School Report”. She is consultant to The Educationalist.

Besides enjoying family life, her hobbies include an enthusiasm for opera, ballet, film and literature. She loves visiting art galleries and has a long “to do” list of hobbies and interests to pursue more fully in the future!
